Flycana, based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, is a low-cost airline. Previously known as Dominican Wings, this airline company bought its first aircraft on May 3rd, 2015. Mr. Victor Pacheco, the current President of the company, acquired 65% stake of Flycana in Dominican Wings in 2017. He has now taken the complete control of this airline. The airline authority, in 2018, announced that they have transitioned from charter operations to schedules low-cost flights. Finally, in May 2018, the airline announced it would rebrand to Flycana and would operate as a low-cost carrier.
Flycana was founded in 2014 and commenced its operations in 2015.
